My Story
Hi! My name is Ellie, a Massage Therapist from Kent specialising in Sports Massage and Kinesiology Taping. I will be offering massage services and kinesiology taping at Ohana Hair and Beauty, Elham. I have always had a passion for health and fitness and so completed a BSc(Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Bath, achieving a First. My enthusiasm for making a positive impact on people's lives led me to undertake a year-long internship as a Neurological Rehabilitation Assistant. After finishing university, I chose to continue working as a Neurological Rehab Trainer full-time. I then returned to the University of Bath to complete both Level 3 and 4 Sports Massage as well as Level 1 in Rock Tape Kinesiology Taping. I look forward to helping individuals improve their health and wellbeing.
My Approach
In my role as a sports massage therapist, I use my expertise to provide a holistic treatment strategy comprising postural evaluations, massage treatment and guidance for post-treatment care. This approach aims not only to address muscular imbalance symptoms but also to rectify their root causes. I am a caring and enthusiastic practitioner that blends detailed knowledge of the body with a deep understanding of athletes’ physical requirements and the general demands of day-to-day life. I aim to create balance and strength in my clients, looking at the whole body rather than just specific injuries. Everyone has the right to relax, recharge, recover, and resume their regular daily activities, thereby feeling better for longer.
